‘Spark’ is, in theory, a simple concept to understand. But, what’s always created that feeling of liveliness and excitement, has always been exploring the creative journey itself. There’s this misconception in the design world, that you can’t be both artist and designer, but the overlap between the two should be enough to show otherwise. I don’t want to subscribe to one or the other, I want to continue learning as a designer, solving problems, and finding solutions.

But, I also want to thrive as an artist, continue my love for expression, and value the novelty of my own individual experiences as a creator. In finding my home within a label, I’ve discovered that I don’t fit very neatly into either category, and that it’s something to embrace, and use to better the quality of my own art and design work.
