Sierra is a Graphic Designer who consistently helps her clients by pursuing a goal to be excited when they look at a finished design, and she accomplishes this by being transparent with her clients and keeping them in the process through open communication. Sierra knows that a part of what makes Graphic Design so successful is how the public interprets it and continues to strive for different perspectives of her designs to make them as accessible and strong as possible. While Sierra finds that her need for bright colors as well as fun tones is most inspired by her family and culture, animation is what helps her strive for more creative and expressive projects. She tries to see motion in everything and uses color to truly bring her works to life. She finds that her most successful projects are the ones she gets passionate about when given great feedback and when she sees the excitement in her peers’ eyes.
Sierra has worked at creating seamless yet fun designs and illustrations throughout the years. Currently, she is planning to head to graduate school to study animation, where she can further use her skills to create exciting designs, advertisements, and more. Sierra was awarded TAMU-CC Student Employee of the Year for her dedication to her work as well as to her education, and she holds a bachelor’s in graphic design from Texas A&M- Corpus Christi. When she is not designing, Sierra enjoys traveling with her friends and family, collecting different art books, as well as finding various new art projects to start.
