HENKE

ABOUT

Cat V. Henke is a graphic designer who creates creative solutions and meaningful connections with clients. She can create a more fulfilling solution for her clientele with these relationships. Cat is not only personable, but she is also dependable and strong-willed. Born and raised in Texas, she graduated high school a year early, leaving her small town at barely 17. She then came to Texas A&M – Corpus Christi to study Graphic Design, where she graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts in May of 2023 and was part of the Golden Key Honor Society. During her time there, she also pursued a minor in Business Administration and plans to start a master’s in business admin during the Summer of 2023. While academically gifted, she has always been drawn to the creative world of design and the arts.

Cat has developed leadership skills over the past two years as a floor lead at The Buckle, progressing from seasonal sales associate to completing their internship program to landing her current leadership position. Here she learned how to manage, listen, delegate, and cultivate a culture of trust and bond with her team. She developed her design skills further while interning with Texas A&M – Corpus Christi in the Marketing and Communication department. Where she had the opportunity to work at a professional pace and develop into the designer, she is now. In recent years, she has participated in the program’s non-profit event, One Day, where she was recognized for her group leadership skills. While not designing, Cat can be found doing extracurricular activities like working out, playing rugby, or reading outside. All of which help her achieve a more balanced mental space and healthy lifestyle.
